All Hail Cobra Commander!!!
UND Student Government elections were Wednesday. A small write-in campaign was started for Cobra Commander. He received seven votes for Aerospace senator, paling in comparison to the 261 the candidate on the ballot got.
Well, today we got a call. Due to the other candidate not turning in a campaign finance form by the deadline, Cobra Commander is now the John D. Odegard School Of Aerospace Sciences senator.

oh my god that is the greatest thing I have ever heard. Now you have to find a Cobra Commander costume and have someone dress as him for official functions. Sometimes democracy does work.
I second that. I actually literally laughed out loud at this. You should absolutely have someone dress up as him and go to meetings. And talk about world domination. And bring punch.
