Whoa. Whoa. Whoa...
I just got back from Jackass 2 (which was fan-freakin-tastic by the way), sat down on my futon, and before I ordered a pizza, I decided to flip through the channels first. So I'm flipping through the channels, and I get to AMC, and I notice a familiar looking automobile flash past. By the time my brain comprehended what I just saw, I had already flipped to another channel. I frantically flipped back, and found myself watching a commercial for Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaner. So what was it I saw?
I'm 99.99% sure I saw a baby blue longnose Saab 95.
Some of you may be asking yourself, Why? What's the big deal?
Well, first of all, I love classic Saabs. Secondly, I can't think of another commercial I've ever seen with a classic Saab in it, and I can only think of six movies with classic Saab's in them (Bullitt (Saab 96), The Arrival (Saab 95), Throw Momma From The Train (Saab 96), The Rundown (Saab 95), Sudden Impact (Sonett III), and The Matrix (Saab 99)). So needless to say, old Saabs on film are rare indeed.
Can anybody else out there confirm what I think I just saw?
